This after-school part-time course is designed for young students who are either intending to pursue dance as a career or who simply love dance and would like to continue to improve their dance skills. Students are taught by WAAPA staff over 28 weeks throughout the year.
Classes are challenging and include classical ballet technique, contemporary technique, choreographic and composition skills, improvisation and duo.
Entry is by audition.
Recommended age: 16 years
Duration: 1 year of 2 semesters

Time: Monday and Friday evenings, 5.30pm - 8.15pm
2 classes each evening
Course cost: $1,500 per year
Please choose your course carefully as full refunds will only be given if a course has been cancelled. In the case of illness, a partial refund will only by granted upon presentation of a valid medical certificate within 7 days of the course end date. Refunds will incur an administration charge of 15% of the total course fee.
No refunds will be given once a course has commenced, except in the case of illness.
Participants will receive confirmation of course details two weeks prior to the start of the course.
