As students weigh up their study and training options for next year, don`t forget that there are dozens of exciting careers “behind-the-scenes” in the arts, culture and entertainment industries that the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) prepares its students for.
WAAPA offers full-time, specialized training in Arts Management and offers a range of courses across its Production & Design department, including; Costume , Design, Lighting, Props and Scenery, Sound and Stage Management.
Any interested students and parents are invited to attend to our Mount Lawley campus for a tour of WAAPA's specialist Production and Design technical facilities and to chat with us about our range of Production and Design courses, admission pathways, applications, and course options.
Join us on this insightful tour of WAAPA's world-class facilities and venues from 'page to stage' as we take you through the process of producing a show. Visit design and costume studios, check out sound and lighting facilities, and explore our extensive props and scenery workshops on the way to a Q&A at the Geoff Gibbs Theatre and Design technical facilities and to chat with us about our range of Production and Design courses, admission pathways, applications, and course options.
