Youth Theatre - School Yrs 7 to 12

WAAPA Youth Theatre students will apply fundamental skills to develop strong voice, movement and acting technique. They will be introduced to script analysis and character development within text based work and gain experience in auditioning for stage and screen. They will have the opportunity to take part in a special devising project where they will be led by experienced directors through practical workshops, and learn how to collaborate as an ensemble to create their own performance. At the end of each term there is the opportunity for family and friends to come along and watch a performance by the students.
