Practice Transition

The Bachelor or Performing Arts Practice Transition major is designed to prepare the future leaders of the performing arts industry in Australia. In the past, students enrolled in the BPA Practice Transition have utilised the course to develop independent research projects in the areas of theatre directing, playwriting, choreography, design, sound design and the arts in education. This course is available online for interstate and regional students.

Audition and interview documents

Please note, to be eligible for this major, you must have completed an Advanced Diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent. You will be required to sit a short interview to discuss your suitability. You may bring a portfolio to the interview to help demonstrate your work to date.
