WAAPA, part of Edith Cowan University is conveniently located close to Perth’s CBD in Mount Lawley, an established inner-city suburb close to restaurants, cafés, bars, venues, cinemas and great shopping! As well as being a friendly, safe and relaxed city, Perth offers all the cosmopolitan attractions of a large international city. The warm sunny climate is also perfect for sporting and leisure activities. With plenty of public transport options between the city and university getting around is easy.

WAAPA offers a vibrant campus life where dancers, singers, musicians, actors and technicians mingle and collaborate on various projects, utilising the Academy’s broad range of facilities.

As part of ECU, Mt Lawley campus, WAAPA students also enjoy access to the facilities and resources Edith Cowan University provides. These include collaborative opportunities with the School of Communications and Arts, access to computing laboratories, guild shops and services, refectories, libraries and student housing. ECU student support services include counselling and medical services, career counselling and student central.
