Important Announcement: No WAAPA Summer School in 2026
Every January, WAAPA’s theatres and studios come alive with the energy, talent and creativity of our amazing Summer School participants — and we love every moment of it.
However, we want to let you know that there will be no WAAPA Summer School program in 2026, as we prepare for an exciting new chapter.
WAAPA is relocating to its brand-new, purpose-built home in ECU City, right in the heart of Perth. This means that throughout 2026, our current Mount Lawley campus will be decommissioned, and we’ll be busy moving into our state-of-the-art facilities in the city. It’s a big moment in WAAPA’s history, and while we’ll miss hosting our usual jam-packed Summer School, the move will ensure even greater opportunities for our students and community in the future.
We know this news may be disappointing to some — we feel it too — but rest assured, we’ll be back and better than ever in January 2027 at our stunning new home. Get ready for next-level training, incredible spaces, and the same warm, creative spirit that makes Summer School so special.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We can’t wait to welcome you back in 2027 for a summer you’ll never forget!
Keep an eye out on our socials and websites for Junior Academy and Winter School courses in 2026.
