Matt is the Head of Contemporary Voice at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.

Background

Matt has worked internationally throughout his career and has just returned in July 2020 from an extended period working in London, UK. Here he worked at the Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) at Falmouth University and continued to expand his performance and artistic portfolio having worked on BBC and with Sony top-line writing and recording for dance artists. Aside from this, Matt has also worked with major Australian artists Guy Sebastian, Damien Leith, Tina Arena and Christine Anu among many more. Matt is in the final stages of completing his PhD focusing on the physiology of R&B/Soul belting.
