Welcome to the Minderoo Centre for Performance Excellence at ECU City! It is the start of a new era for WAAPA, and I’m thrilled to invite you to our extraordinary new home in the heart of Perth.
With its exceptional performance venues and facilities, this impressive city campus places WAAPA firmly at the forefront of performing arts training both nationally and internationally.
This year also marks the start of the Premier Visiting Artists Fund which, through the generous support of Minderoo Foundation, will bring the world’s preeminent creative artists to WAAPA.
Our partnership with Minderoo enables WAAPA to deliver dynamic, highly enabling training and extraordinary performance experiences that serve to inspire and empower both current and future generations of arts practitioners.
As you’ll see from this 2026 Performance Program, our venues might have changed but our performances and concerts remain as extensive and exciting as ever. So come and visit us in the city, and be wowed by our inspiring new premises and our fabulously talented students.
