Teresa is a Lecturer for the Bachelor of Performing Arts at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts.

Background

Teresa graduated from WAAPA (Acting) in 2007 and has since worked extensively throughout the performance industry in both stage and screen.

Her recent theatre credits include: The Master Collector (Barking Gecko), Toast (Gwen) and The Tempest (Sebastia) for Black Swan Theatre Co., Julius Caesar (Portia), All’s Well That Ends Well (Violenta), Antony and Cleopatra (Iris) and Twelfth Night for Sport For Jove Theatre Co. and CDP’s international tour of The Incredible Book Eating Boy. Her TV credits include: All Saints, Rescue Special Ops, ABC series Laid, Google’s Hang Out In History and the SBS film Old War.

She began working with Bell Shakespeare in 2011, becoming a core member of their team, as a Performer, Director, Dramaturg and Educator. She took on the of Bell Shakespeare's Resident Artist from 2015-2018.

Teresa has her Masters in Literature and is an avid arts educator. She has developed and delivered education programs for several theatre companies nation wide, and has been a university lecturer in Performance and Literature since 2016.
