An icon of the Australian music scene, Paul Grabowsky is a multifaceted artist whose influence spans the realms of pianist, composer, arranger, conductor and more. With eight ARIA Awards (including one with singer Kate Ceberano), two Helpmann Awards, multiple Bell Awards, a Sidney Myer Performing Artist of the Year Award, a Melbourne Prize for Music, several Artistic Director roles and a Deadly Award, Grabowsky's accolades are a testament to his enduring impact on the music industry. For this concert you will hear Grabowsky accompanied by the next generation of jazz performers, interpreting his masterful compositions that reflect the rich tapestry of human emotions – ranging from the vibrant, spontaneous and exuberant, to the introspective and melancholic.
