Academic admission requirements (Band 1) and English competency requirements may be satisfied through completion of Year 10 or equivalent.
All applicants are required to attend an audition. In addition, all applicants are normally expected to be turning at least 17 by 30th June in the year of commencing the course.
As part of the application process, applicants will be required to complete a language, literacy, numeracy and digital literacy skills and competencies review. Full details are on the website.

The program includes weekly classes in composition, music technology, theory, aural development, ensembles, history, and performance practice. You'll gain practical experience in recording, editing, and mixing using industry-standard tools and workflows. Units in copyright, freelancing, and wellness support a well-rounded understanding of life in the creative industries.
This stream is ideal for those creating music on a laptop who want to refine their technical and creative abilities. Applicants must audition and be at least 17 years old by June 30 of their commencement year.
